Spring & Fall are the prime times to fish the head waters for Grayling. The smaller creeks are simply beautiful, these spots are reached on foot so if you are interested in seeing some spots like this you gotta hoof it. I actually enjoy a good bunch of photo results as well as fishing. As a matter of fact I believe a good landscape photo becomes more popular with those you show them to than do fish pictures. The general thinking behind that statement is; when you show pictures from a fishing trip, your friends expect to see fish. When you take a picture that really captures the feel of ‘being there’ well………… that’s a different type of image.
If you want to take Alaska home on a memory card I can help you to find some shots that will not look like they were taken at the road side vista where a million other visitors took their memory shot from.
